Month 2!

So this is late in coming, seeing as we're almost to month three (holy cow!) But, better late than never I guess! Here are just a few updates and achievements (and pictures!) of our little Brie bear!

She got to meet her Aunts for the first time when they flew out to see her! She was on her best behavior and we all had a good time! Just kind of hung out and they got to know each other!

The week after that fun visit we had a lot more of our family come out for Brielle's baby blessing ( a right of passage of sorts for our church) and it was so great! David's family came from Oregon and mine from Utah and we had a wonderful weekend and had a fun luncheon with friends and all our family afterward.

The pretty dress was made by her Grandma Robinson out of material from one of her Great Grandma Pauline's shirts
The Robinsons!
The Hunts!

Uncle Jacob!
The Petersons!

This dress was made by her great great Grandma Lavena and got passed down to her!

And we had a couple of real smiles! Her first "real social smile" was on February 16 (Had to make sure I knew the date for the baby book!) And she has slowly been doing it more and more!

One of the first real smiles I caught on camera!

She's been sleeping better! Slowly but surely sleeping longer stretches at night. The first night she slept 5 hours and I woke up in a cold sweat because I knew I had slept longer than I had in a long time, but she was just fine sleeping away! It's been really nice- her naps during the day are still hit and miss, but hey if I get enough sleep I night, I can (usually) handle her during the day.

She's also a gigantor baby! At her 2 month check up she was 12 lb 10 oz and nearly 24 inches long! Putting her in 90th percentile in both height and weight, meaning we've graduated into bigger clothes, which honestly made me a lot sadder than I thought it would. But it's okay, its so much fun to see her grow and become more and more alert everyday.

Brielle's decided that she hates her pacifier and will not take a bottle for anything, which is a little bit frustrating, but better now that she's sleeping longer at night anyway and she's discovered that she can suck her hand which comforts her better than a pacifier anyways.

So all in all things are going just great! Shes a growing girl and everyday is a new adventure!  Lastly, a photo dump of the cutest baby around!

Crazy how big she's gotten in just one month!

Let's see what the rest of month 3 brings!
